The Boxter S made its global debut during the November L.A. Auto Show. A recent test drive in the Willow Springs Race Track convinced car experts that the Boxter S is at its best when it comes to its purposeā€”be lightning fast on the road.

It flies. Not. But it is really quick powered by its 3.4L 9A1 engine that outputs 310 horsepower with a torque of 265 lb-ft. The automatic seven speed transmission paired with the engine brings the brute force to reality as you will notice how things along the track go a bit blurry.

The Boxter S is a beast that can be tamed on the race way. This is attributed to the excellent strut suspension from Porsche MacPherson and the Stability Management 8.0 that controls the wheel spin.
